This remains one of the more successful of the early pieces as far as I'm concerned. The constituent sheets in the piece are between 1-3mm thick, the whole thing is quite delicate. As the moisture content in the material has settled to that of its environment, each sheet has bowed slightly, confounding my careful measurements and construction.

The surface patterns on the material are in part inherent to the material, part inherited from the presses used during the drying process. A shellac sealer gave a slightly matt finish.
